Subsitute Teacher Service (hires day-to-day substitutes, paraprofessionals, and nurses for 35+ schools across Southeastern and Central Pennsylvania)
I am signed up to receive the weekly emails from my local school districts but have not gotten any emails with job postings in at least 3 weeks. Is there currently a problem with the system?

ReplyDeleteI have the list at http://talentedrecruitandhire.blogspot.com/2017/01/privatecharter-schools-using-talented.html but it's a work in progress. I honestly don't know about any other websites that does something like this.
DeleteAlex, do you know if there's a way to sync your info with all the schools that use TalentEd? I have different usernames and passwords for all the schools I've applied to in the past. Now that I'm certified and applying for teaching jobs (as opposed to aide jobs) I find I need to re-enter the same info for each school district's postings. If you have any suggestions I'd appreciate your help. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou can sync your information by pressing the apply button on the posting and then typing your email and password. My suggestion would be to import the information from an account that you have used to apply to a teaching program, so you don't have to manually change all of the aide info.
DeleteThank you. Another question: I had signed up to receive the weekly job postings from a number of surrounding school districts and the intermediate unit, and I used to get them every Sunday. I've stopped receiving them, even though I've repeatedly gone in to sign up for them, for all the districts. Can you offer any suggestions to fix it, so I can start receiving them again?

If you go to http://peopleadminsupport.com/how-do-i-reset-my-password-in-recruit-hire/ (ignore the fact that it's a different topic; I couldn't find one for your specific issue), you can type in the feedback bar what you wrote here and hopefully someone from PeopleAdmin will be in contact with you.
DeleteSometime in May I called TalentEd and left a message. They got back to me quickly after, and explained that they were having problems with the job posting emails, but working on it. The problem was solved by the next Sunday when the emails go out, and has been fine since. Thanks for your replies!

I was told the following: The nice thing with this is that once you apply through Talent Ed in one district, most of your information becomes available when you apply in other districts that use the same program.
